Vietnam the country has the shape like an S and has very long unspoiled coastal lines. (more than 3000 km long). Vietnam offers variety of choices which can suit many different tastes of travelers.

For Beach lovers the best options could be Muine beaches, Nha trang beaches and Nha trang Bay (which is the best place in Vietnam for diving or snorkeling), remotes Phu Quoc Island or Con Dao

Halong Bay, the world heritage site with wonderful rock formation which emerges from the sea could easily rate as one of the wonders of the world. Nearby, Cat Ba Island, the pretty island which is not very far from Halong also famous for its beach s well as the national park. Similar scenery (without the water) can be found at the Perfume Pagoda and in Tam Coc.

Sapa and nearby Bac Ha offer a glimpse of traditional ethnic lifestyles in the mountains along the Chinese border. Mai Chau and myriad other less-travelled parts of the northern mountains offer opportunities to visit ethnic villages and to hike. The rugged overland north-west loop' passes through some of Vietnam's most scenic high-country landscape; done by jeep or motorbike, this route ranks among the most memorable for
many.

History and architecture buffs will be attracted to Hue and Hoi An, the latter being among the most charming spots in the country. For those fascinated by the American War effort and all its implications, what better place to pursue the topic than the former Demilitarised Zone (DMZ)

Dalat - with its park like setting, waterfalls, ethnic minorities and cool mountain climate - is considered the jewel of the Central Highlands.

The Mekong' Delta is more varied than most people imagine - popular scenic spots include Cantho, Soc Trang and Chau Doc. And if you've spent enough time admiring Vietnam's landscape, perhaps you'd like to see what lies underneath - there are few better places to do this than in Phong Nha Cave.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's largest city with a population in excess of 6 million. It is a fast-paced city full of contrasts as street vendors selling fruit and vegetables can be seen next to glitzy western-style bars and boutiques. And the cononial Hanoi Capital city.
